Foundation for Epilepsy Patients (Foundation)
Foundation for Epilepsy Patients was founded in May 15 of 2003 on opened. The former aim of the foundation was to create specialized neurophysiologic laboratory, and further enhance and develop instrumentations of existing electrophysiology laboratories all of which would be capable to clarify the exact disease where changes in electric activity of the cerebral cortex is involved.
The meantime Se. Attila Balogh the President of the Board of Trustees of Foundation played a significant role in the development of 4D Anatomy project. His prior activity in the filed of neuroanatomic and neurophysiology made him internationally recognized. Based on his prior experience and knowledge his participation was key in the technical and content development of the project. 4D Anatomy’s initial module The head and neck Basic Collection was developed under his guidance. His interest in neuropathology and clinical pathology made him encourage the Foundation to participate in this unique endeavor further developing 4D Anatomy applications and include unique cases of pathological disorders into the database. Over 40 years spent in medical education enables him with all the skills and experience required for the implementation of such modern educational IT technology may necessitate.
The Foundation bears exclusive licensing rights to develop education material related to curriculum as part of 4D Pathology project. Possession of the fundamentals necessary to develop effective methodology for curriculum to adopt and implement into the medical training is warrant. Therefore the Foundation is to develop methodology directs the development of education material and eventually will train teachers university.
The Foundation manages the development of the content incorporated into 4D Pathology database including the production of four-dimensional visualization tools and eLearning multimedia content as well.
